Currently working on the Advanced Graph Analytics for Human Brain Connectivity project funded by MBIE. This project joins researchers and science leaders in both data science and neuroscience at the University of Auckland and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. We are aiming to understand and locate deep connectivity patterns in the human brain with cutting-edge graph analytics tools.

I taught postgraduate courses in machine learning and cloud computing. I also had a dual role as the manager of ICT short courses which provided machine learning and data analytics training to industry.
In this role I worked with industry partners from various sectors to provide their staff with machine learning and data analytics training. I have taught participants that are clinicians, medical physicists, software engineers, and scientists in different disciplines. We provided in-house and publicly available courses and I taught the machine learning short course.

I was the primary author for a Context Review Report to review areas of importance surrounding the Precision Driven Health initiative, both in New Zealand and overseas. The report was co-authored by Professor Gill Dobbie.

I worked on a research project that is in collaboration with the Mozilla Corporation.
The work focused on using Change Detection to aid in automatic software bug detection that leads to regressions.

My thesis was focused on performing change mining and analysis for big data and data streams. I received the honour of Dean’s List of Excellent Theses and finished my PhD in the top 5% of all thesis completions at the University of Auckland.
